History
D'origine hongroise, Kaspar Kasics est né en 1952 à Interlaken. Il étudie la musique, la philosophie et l'allemand, puis devient producteur et réalisateur à la télévision suisse alémanique (DRS). Il réalise plusieurs films dont Peron 2 (1984), L'altro accante (1985), Jemand oder die passion zum Widerstand (1991), Le barrage (1991), Closed Country (1999), Dragan et Madlaina (2001), Sauvé (2004), No More Smoke Signals (2008). Il a fondé la société de production, location et distribution Extra Film à Zürich en 1994 (?). En 2004 est créée la société Distant Lights Filmproduktion GmbH.
